QSR Menu Refresh and Fulfillment

 

• Over 700 printed versions
• More than 400 packing configurations
• Program took only three weeks to process files, print, kit pack and ship kits
• Few thousand total pieces were produced

Overcome:

• Sheer number of printed versions
• Small differences between groups of translites.  Many of the translites looked identical except for a change in one sandwich or a difference in a line of copy.  Only the part number printed at the bottom kept the parts organized and the pack out accurate. 
• We also needed to pack clear and matte Plexiglas and each came masked, making it difficult to identify which was which.
• Overall the number one challenge was managing the entire program.  Art files and packing slips didn’t come in as one group and frequently we’d receive packing slips but not have the art files for the parts on the packing slip or we’d receive art files but no packing slips.  Coordinating and tracking what files were received, what packing slips were received, what was printed, what was laminated, what was cut and what was packed and shipped was the greatest challenge.  The ability to do all of that was the main reasons we were successful at satisfying the customer.
