1949: Serigraph was founded by Alfred Ramsthal in
West Bend, WI as a screen printer.

1955: Received first decal order from large farm machinery
company.
1957: Built first mass production printing facility in West Bend, WI.
1959: Acquired local printer. Added litho and letter press
capability.
1969: Expanded capability to include printing on plastic.

1971: Build second printing facility in West Bend.
1974: Entered automotive market.
1978: Introduced UV screen printing capability.
1979: Installed first screen printing clean room.

1982: First major order for the Point of Purchase signage market.
1985: Added first six-color Hedelberg offset printing press.
1986: Pioneered intra-station UV curing technology.
1987: Company sold to investor group headed by John Torinus.
1989: Purchased first web screen printing presses.

1991: Entered heat transfer business.
1995: Launched In-Mold Labeling. Sales surpassed $100MM.
1996: Acquired Carvel Print and opened first operation in
Queretaro, Mexico. Achieved ISO 9001 and QS 9000
certifications.
1997: Built new HQ, R&D, and Decorating Technologies Institute.
1998: Opened 2nd plant in Queretaro, MX. Launched digital
printing.

2001: Serillusion and Micromotion introduced.
2004: Promotion® introduced.
2005: Installed five-color in-line screen presses.
2006: Opened plant in Shanghai, China with S.E. Print.
Earned TS16949 certification.
2007: Opened dedicated fulfillment center in Wisconsin.
Developed customized on-line ordering and tracking system
for the QSR and in-store POP markets
Formed a partnership with SJS Enterprises in India.
2008: Opened plant in Guangzhou, China with S.E. Print.
Earned ISO 14001 environmental certification in Wisconsin.
2009: Emerged from great recession with 450 US employees,
1,700 world-wide.
Promotion®, a proprietary printing technology, was licensed to
a global services company.
